I know it's been quite some time since I updated my blog but, I needed some time to reflect on the direction I was headed. So, with that being said I thought I would start posting again with a must see adventure post! After stepping back, I realized that I want this blog to focus on my personal style, design aesthetic and all my adventures to come along the way. I want this to be a creative outlet that explains many of my social posts & helps in curating creativity in others!
So let's get right into it. A little over a week ago I jumped on a place to the super cool city of Toronto Ontario. This super clean, modern and beautiful city is filled with TONS of hidden gems to fill the day with adventure. The transportation and Airbnb were effortless and every meal was delicious.
Adventures over the getaway weekend included:
Ripley's Aquarium of Canada: SUPER COOL! I'm a kid at heart so anything with bright colors and animals - i'm about it. This was the largest aquarium I have ever been too and the skylight shark tank was something that was slightly ominous but a must see.
CN Tower: Beautiful views & a rotating restaurant that gives a full 360 views of the Toronto skyline. I'm not usually one who likes to take pictures of my food but my sweet tooth was fully satisfied by this orange rum cake & amazing dinner in the clouds.
Distillery District: Picture perfect venue and dinner at a lantern lit outdoor Mexican cantina - calls for photos, margs and extra gauc, obviously. The old brick venue, tiny shops and cafes are great for both night and day exploration. A timeless love lock wall is the cutest little time capsule hidden in the heart of the district too.
AGO (Art Gallery Of Ontario): Little secret - but i'm a total art geek. Art galleries and museums are a huge weakness of mine. I could get lost in all the different wings for hours seeing as many Pollack's, Warhol's and Monet's as possible.
Royal Ontario Museum: Total blast from the past & super educational of the Canadian History of Ontario. The whole third floor is filled with fossils - which was something I never have seen up close in personal.
Toronto stole a little piece of my heart and is in my opinion a great weekend getaway.
Till' next time,
